Introduction

Situated in the Devon countryside flanking a peaceful lake this lodge offers a beautiful bolthole to explore from seeking the nearby attractions or spending the days unwinding with its tranquil surrounds. Settled in the village of Kentisbeare you ll find a pub within 0.5 miles or venture slightly further afield to nearby town of Tiverton (10.6 miles) which features a picturesque canal where you can hire a barge for a day of leisure. A 15 mile drive to Exeter opens up opportunities to visit the breath taking cathedral or indulge in the diverse array of shops restaurants and amenities. For outdoor enthusiasts the location offers a myriad of attractions with both Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks in close proximity. Beach enthusiasts can explore the renowned Jurassic coastline including charming destinations like Lyme Regis Sidmouth and Branscombe all within 25 miles. Step inside the lodge from the sheltered deck and you re welcomed into the open plan lounge/dining and kitchen area. To your right you can unwind on the cosy sofa adjacent to the warming wood burner and smart TV. The kitchen offers a great space to cook up some local produce and comes fully equipped with everything you ll need for your stay. A large dining space completes the living area and provides a great spot to enjoy mealtimes with glimpses of the lake in the background through the French doors. You ll find two of the bedrooms to the left a king-size bedroom with French doors out to the outer deck and a twin room (which can be made into a super-king) with plenty of space. Completing the bedrooms you ll find a third room at the opposite end of the lodge with a king-size bed and en-suite. Completing the inside of the lodge is a contemporary styled family bathroom. Outside you ll find a sheltered decked area with a bubbling hot tub beautiful views of the lake and countryside. Designated jetty areas are situated opposite the lodge for an afternoon of fishing. Fish stocks have been supplied by Priory Fishery. Willow is 2 acres and has been stocked with 110 Carp that average 25lbs with at least 25 different 30lbers while James pool is 0.25 acres and offers Specimen Coarse Fishing with Bream over 4lbs Crucians to 2.5lbs 1lb Golden Rudd and Tench over 7lbs. Need to know: 3 bedrooms 2 king size, 1 twin (can be made into a super king size on request). 2 bathroom 1 en suite walk in shower with WC, 1 family bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Electric oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer. Wood burner (first set of logs provided). Smart TV in lounge and all bedrooms. Hot tub. Off road parking for two cars. Pub 0.5 miles, shop 0.6 miles, Beach 19 miles. EV charger on site (no additional charge). Children and pets must be supervised at all times due to lakes. Fishing available on site and included in your stay wet equipment is supplied for biosecurity (nets, mats and slings).
