Set in the beautiful wooded gorge of the River Derwent Matlock and Matlock Bath offer a range of shops pubs and restaurants as well as a host of attractions including Gulliver s Kingdom and the Peak District Mining Museum. The property is within easy reach of the gorgeous country houses of Chatsworth and Haddon Hall which are ideal for whiling away an afternoon. The nearby pretty market town of Bakewell lies in the heart of the Peak District National Park and offers a great place for meandering through the various shops cafes and restaurants. Approach the property via some external steps. Stepping inside you are welcomed into the dining room with a dining table big enough for all the family to enjoy a meal together complimented by the large windows and comfortable seating around the open fire making this is a wonderful space to relax before dinner. Head through to the kitchen/diner offering a stylish contemporary finish with granite work surfaces and all the appliances you need for a relaxing stay with SMEG range cooker with 6 gas rings microwave fridge/freezer built in wine cooler and dishwasher. The lower ground floor is accessed from the integral staircase and offers a utility room with washing machine a converted garage into a games room with pool table football table tumble dryer and garage door which opens up onto the front of the property. The first floor offers a beautiful and spacious lounge with large windows and surrounding views. There is comfortable seating and a TV/DVD perfect for relaxing in front of after a day of exploring. The dining table is a great space for jigsaws and board games for all of the family to enjoy. There is also a double bedroom with TV and a separate bathroom with free standing bath located on this floor. The second floor has one super-king-size zip-and-link ensuite bedroom (which can be made up as a twin upon request) and one double bedroom both with TV s. There is also a separate bathroom with free standing bath and hydro massage shower. The further up the property you get the better the views are. On the top floor is the super- king-size zip-and-link ensuite bedroom (which can be made up as a twin upon request) with TV and floor to ceiling windows that overlook the valley. Completing the accommodation is the largest bedroom with super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made up as a twin upon request) which also doubles as a family room with cinema seating and TV with 2 sofa beds (which can be used for up to 4 additional guests if required). Additional info: Both the lounge and cinema room have an Amazon box. To access Netflix you will need to use your own account details. There is also an intercom system between all floors. To the front of the property is the hot tub (with views over the valley) garden furniture and a charcoal BBQ. Leading out from the kitchen is also a small enclosed courtyard area. There is ample off-road parking for five cars.
