Introduction

This property enjoys a tranquil countryside location on the edge of the village of Sheepwash where visitors will find a village shop and a welcoming pub. Slightly further afield the traditional market town of Great Torrington offers a range of shops eateries a great cinema and a weekly pannier market offering local produce. For those who like to make the most of the surrounding countryside there are plenty of walking and cycling routes nearby including the traffic free Tarka Trail and the wild beauty of Dartmoor. Of course a trip to Devon would be incomplete without a day at the seaside and the seaside town of Westward Ho! is just twenty miles to the north of the property whilst the popular Cornish seaside town of Bude is found twenty miles to the south-west. This former barn has been lovingly converted to offer comfortable single-storey accommodation for four guests within tranquil countryside surroundings. On entering the cottage via a few stone steps which lead to the front door guests will discover the attractive light-filled lounge/diner with its wood burner comfortable seating dining table TV/DVD and doors which open out onto the patio area. The stylish kitchen provides everything that guests will need to make themselves feel at home including an electric oven and hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher and washing machine. There are three restful bedrooms in the property: one double room and 2 single rooms whilst the contemporary shower room has a shower and WC. A handy utility room provides space for storing bikes etc. Outside there is a patio directly to rear of the property with table chairs and a BBQ making a lovely spot to enjoy the peace and quiet over a drink or alfresco meal. Private eco wood fired hot tub with countryside views. Guests also have access to a paddock which makes an ideal place for playing games and dog walking whilst a covered barn offers swings a pool table air hockey and exercise equipment. There is ample off-road parking provided and guests may like to make use of the four bikes (adult size) which the owners have made available for guests.
