Introduction

Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with views over Mount s Bay within its own extensive grounds with excellent walks down to the nature reserve and local beaches. The accommodation is in an excellent position to enjoy the Lizard Peninsula and Penryn the hugely attractive and popular St Michael s Mount. A trip around the Castle of St Michael is great day out for historian and view seekers alike. The climb to the top of the mount is well-worth the effort of the views across the bay. Other Cornish attractions can be easily reached from the area such as the Paradise Wildlife Park the Minack Theatre Mousehole Geevor Mine and Levant Mine and Flambards Theme Park to name a few. On the Lizard you can visit the sleepy village of Mullion Cove or have a coffee at the British mainland s most southerly tip Lizard Point go surfing at the ghostly Gunwalloe Cove. The accommodation itself is located between to pretty Cornish villages and near a few family-friendly pubs serving food within a few miles. The single-storey Swedish-style log cabin has a spacious layout. On arrival you will find the welcoming open plan lounge/kitchen/diner that features a wood burner with complimentary basket of logs a TV/DVD and ample comfy seating. The kitchen area comes complete with a gas oven and hob a microwave a dishwasher a washing machine and a tumble dryer. The property has four bedrooms two of which are spacious with double beds and en-suite shower rooms with WC. Close by is a bedroom with a zip-and-link twin which can be made up as another double. The fourth bedroom contains a pair of adult-sized bunk beds. Elsewhere is the bathroom equipped with both a bath and a shower. Nearby is a second shower room with a sauna that should prove popular with guests. Outside impresses with its extensive decked area that surrounds the property with seating. Shared with the owner s family is a fantastic swimming pool covered with a retractable glass enclosure giving guests the versatility to use an indoor and outdoor pool whatever time of year it may be. There is also a large patio area around the pool a hot tub and a wooden decked area leading to a Swedish-style BBQ cabin suitable for about 14 people. Children will also find lots to get into. There is a large play field on site with a trampoline climbing frame football area water slide and bouncy castle (weather permitting). Indoor board games a PlayStation 2 with games a large collection of DVDs (on request) and outdoor box with ball bats and much more is also available. There s ample off-road parking for guests in a large car park.
