Introduction

This bright and airy former barn is set in a peaceful location yet has excellent road links making it the ideal base for touring both Somerset and Devon. Surrounded by pastureland with wonderful views in all directions it is the ideal spot for walkers and those wishing to get back to nature. Set in its own grounds and boarded by the National Trust and only half a mile from the famous Wellington Monument. Many pretty towns and villages are accessible from here including nearby Wellington which offers a good selection of local amenities. A visit to the town museum is a must for history lovers. Also accessible by car are a wealth of popular attractions including the rugged beauty of Exmoor and Dartmoor north and south coasts and a choice of National Trust properties. A gravel driveway leads you to the detached stone barn with two steps which bring you onto the decking area giving access to the door. Once inside you are met with a welcoming lounge/kitchen/diner cosy sociable which has double doors opening onto the deck making the most of the stunning views. The comfortable lounge area is the perfect spot for relaxing after a day spent exploring sit back on the sofa and enjoy a film on the TV/DVD. The contemporary kitchen area is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob fridge/freezer microwave dishwasher and washing machine. Leading off from here is the stylish shower room with WC. Completing the accommodation are the two bedrooms one double and one twin. Heading outside there is a large elevated deck which wraps around two sides of the barn with garden furniture and panoramic views it is the perfect spot for a relaxed meal. Adjacent to the barn is a private hot tub where you can take time out to relax with a spot of star gazing. There is off-road parking available for four cars to the front of the property.
