The ancient market towns of Welshpool Newtown and Oswestry are also nearby and offer a selection of shops restaurants a cinema and attractions not forgetting National Trust s Powys Castle and Gardens Chirk and Erddig close by. Walkers cyclists and water lovers alike can stride ride or drive along Montgomery Canal Bala Lake and Lake Vyrnwy or head up into the majestic mountains and paths across Snowdonia National Park. A great location to experience culture and countryside pursuits in Mid Wales and its Shropshire borders a perfect spot to enjoy an active or relaxing holiday. This period farmhouse located at the head of the farm is full of period features and contemporary twists throughout. The lovely hall has plenty of space for your walking boots and coats with a convenient separate ground floor WC and washing machine the hall leads into the heart of the house. Natural light floods into the spacious kitchen/diner with exposed beams feature fireplace with wood burner TV comfy chairs and the dining table taking centre stage near the patio doors leading to the hot tub. If you decide to eat in and rustle a meal with purchases from nearby local producers the kitchen is well-equipped with electric oven and hob microwave fridge/freezer and dishwasher. After dinner retire to the snug with exposed beams feature fireplace and comfortable sofas or walk through to the relaxed lounge with exposed beams feature fireplace comfortable sofas and a Smart TV. Back into the entrance hall with tiled floor and feature glass door head upstairs to the first floor and choose from one of the three bedrooms one king-size one double with stylish en-suite shower room and WC or the spacious twin. All the bedrooms have been designed for a good night s sleep with lovely linen and wonderful views to wake up to. Last but not least is the spacious family bathroom with bath shower and WC enjoy a leisurely bath or shower in this stylish room. Outside relax in the hot tub in the enclosed patio area with garden furniture leading from the dining area. To the front of the house is a paved area with wrought iron railings leading to the pretty enclosed half-acre garden with lawn fire pit charcoal BBQ table and chairs the perfect spot to enjoy al fresco dining whilst embracing the wonderful views from sunrise to sunset. You are welcome to explore the footpaths on the 50 acre farm with sheep and cattle. There is ample private off-road parking at the property. Lockable bike and canoe store are also available.
