Introduction

As you follow the path through the grass this enchanting property can be glimpsed then through the gate into your own very private meadow you ll feel as if you have truly left the real world far behind you time to relax and unwind deep in the Herefordshire countryside. The carriage takes centre stage with its sturdy steps which are made from reclaimed sleepers that doubles up to make the most superb sun trap balcony. These blend perfectly with the upcycled large wooden Victorian stable doors now furnished with beautiful hand forged ironmongery which open to reveal the most magical of spaces. The hut is perfectly situated on the England/Wales border making it easy to visit some of the area s historic towns and villages including Hay-on-Wye which is renowned for its affluent bookshops and exquisite restaurants. Inside you step back in time to the most romantic ambiance imaginable which allows you to absorb the rustic charm. The traditional log burner takes pride of place and keeps the carriage toasty on cooler evenings a vintage leather chesterfield sofa is perfect for relaxing with a book or simply let the crackle of the fire lull you into the night as you watch the wildlife out of the large window. The kitchen area is ingeniously made from an old water tank and offers lots of space to rustle up a meal for two or just brew up a morning coffee. A gas hob and just the right amount of pots pans and utensils are provided for you. At the other end of your carriage a king sized supremely comfortable bed awaits your slumber and you will feel the weight of the world leave your shoulders. A small window at the foot of the bed frames the mountain view you wake up to – no need to draw the curtains here! There really is no detail missed here your bathroom is cleverly fashioned from an old grain silo and sits comfortably alongside the carriage offering a very effective wet room style shower and the beautiful glass sink adds a further luxurious touch. Outside your bespoke and very regal wood fuelled hot tub beckons you to relax yet further. This stunning piece of art has been designed and the ornate sculpting has been hand forged by the owners taking inspiration from the natural surroundings its detail is astonishing. Filled with pure spring water simply heat it up and enjoy. A large fire pit provides a great way to cook up a meal and just in case you need to unwind even more a double hammock is there for you to snooze in whilst the birds sing their songs just lie back and enjoy this unique experience. Off grid really is the new luxury.
