Introduction

With the edge of the Dartmoor being just a few minutes drive away this property is well-placed to take advantage of one of the West Country s best wildernesses. Dartmoor is well-loved by keen walkers as well as wildlife enthusiasts and off-road cyclists but there is more to the area than most people realise and there really is something for everyone. In fact within a thirty-minute drive of the property attractions include The Dartmoor Pony Heritage Centre Buckfast Abbey The South Devon Steam Railway and a butterfly and otter sanctuary. The nearest town to the property is Okehampton situated just two miles away and offers a range of shops choice of supermarkets a choice of eateries and a leisure centre. This property is set back in its own space. The main living area is the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which has large patio doors opening out onto the property s raised deck. The lounge area is set out so that guests are able to enjoy the views across the neighbouring fields and also sit back relax and watch the TV/DVD or cosy up in front of the electric fire. The dining table comfortably seats six adjacent to which is the kitchen area with its oven hob microwave fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. To the rear of the property there are three bedrooms the first of these is a spacious double room with a TV dressing area and en-suite shower room with WC. The second and third bedrooms are both twin rooms. The main bathroom has a shower-over-bath and WC. Outside the property s decked veranda not only has patio furniture allowing guest to enjoy al fresco meals but also a wonderful sunken hot tub where guests can soak away and make the most of the peaceful surroundings. There is a pub located next door where there is a children s play area sauna (at additional cost) and of course the pub with its bar and restaurant. There is ample off-road parking as well as space for additional guests to camp at an additional charge.
