Also steeped in history with some of Europe s finest surviving castles Brecon Castle overlooking the River Usk and Crickhowell Castle a prominent feature within a small market town. Soak up the views across the Black Mountains before you step back in time to the inviting hallway with flagstone floors and wood burner the kitchen offers a warm welcome with original exposed beams and views onto the gardens well-equipped with range style electric oven and induction hob microwave American style fridge/freezer dishwasher washing machine and tumble dryer finished with a table and chairs just perfect for breakfast. Step down into the stylish lounge/diner with exposed beams and inglenook fireplace with wood burner create the perfect back drop for any occasion the comfy sofas with rich coloured cushions surround the fireplace with the dining table enjoying centre stage. Pass back through the hallway and into the snug simply furnished and perfect for a good movie a wood burner offers the finishing touches to warm the room. Continue through the snug and let the games begin within this well-equipped games room with drinks fridge and bar enjoy a game of pool or simply relax with a good book and enjoy the views. When it s time for bed you will find a bedroom on this floor a super-king-size (which can be made into a twin on request) and a separate WC. With staircases leading to the first floor where you will find a super-king-size room with en-suite bathroom with walk in shower separate bath and WC a super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a twin on request) with en-suite WC a king-size with en-suite bathroom with shower over the bath and WC one twin two doubles with en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC. There is also a family bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Take a step out into the established grounds enjoy a coffee on the patio overlooking the open wildlife pond with the backdrop of the Black Mountains or take a stroll through the 15 acres of private woodlands and after a day s exploring take some time to soak in the hot tub and and in the summer months take advantage of the BBQ and smoker. There is ample off-road parking and bicycle storage available.
