Introduction

Nestled within the Herefordshire countryside offering immediate access to the open countryside a great base for exploring with many villages and market towns within easy reach Pembridge is close by a picturesque village lined with black and white cottages and quintessential tearooms playing a major part of Herefords history Hay-on-Wye famous for its book shops and festivals and Leominster with its array of antique shops Mappa Mundi and Chained Library are close. There are many National Trust properties: The Weir Gardens Croft Castle and Berrington Hall to name a few. A variety of festivals run throughout the year such as The Three Choirs Ludlow Food Festival and Medieval Festival and Bishops Castle Folk festival. This stunning conversion of the estate s Victorian stable-yard which now enjoys modern luxury and excellent leisure facilities. Step inside and take a tour there are three main reception areas consisting of The Parley housing a full media centre (specifications on request) with Wi-Fi OHP & presentation screen. It can be a sleek meeting room/board room in the day an impressive dining room in the evening and an intimate studio cinema by night. The Clock View the perfect place for cocktails before dinner or a peaceful get away with a good book. The Tack room this cosy panelled lounge with three sofas and an open fire is the perfect snug. The Discourse a lofty double height room with exposed beams; this can be a comfortable and spacious seating area with a 43 plasma DVD cinema screen along with a Wii (bring your own games – ours are limited!). A great communal space with a dining room at one end and a well-equipped kitchen at the other offering ample space for catering with electric oven and hob microwave American style fridge/freezer two dishwashers and washer/dryer. This area also opens onto the courtyard which is a lovely space for a drinks party on a summer evening. There are another four well-equipped kitchens spread throughout the property making self-catering much easier. The largest is next to The Parley dining room with a range oven and a large American style fridge. There are three smaller kitchens located in some of the self-contained bedroom areas each with their own fridge electric oven and hob kettle and toaster. So when the night draws in you will find eight bedrooms; a king-size set on a large mezzanine with gallery there is also a full-size day bed and separate area with an additional day bed. There is an en-suite with double ended bath and hand-held shower. A king-size within a mezzanine area a sofa for lounging and an en-suite bathroom with double-ended bath and separate shower and WC. A twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom with roll-top bath and separate shower and WC. A super-king-size with a sofa for lounging and en-suite roll top bath and WC. A super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made up as a twin on request) with an en-suite bathroom with separate shower and WC. A super-king-size four poster bed with additional single bed there is an en-suite shower and separate WC. A super-king-size with en-suite bathroom with double-ended bath and WC on a mezzanine floor. A twin room set on a mezzanine with a king-size bed set on the ground floor this area is a self-contained studio with kitchenette. Step outside and enjoy the quintessential walled gardens bordered with lavenders. Take a stroll or simply enjoy a lazy lunch out on the terrace furnished to accommodate up to twenty-three guests you have use of the heated outdoor pool from May September (shared with three other properties between 10am and 12 noon) or why not visit the potting shed after a days walking for a soak in the hot tub. There is also a sauna squash court badminton and table tennis if you are feeling competitive. There is parking for 12 cars.
