Introduction

This lovely cottage situated on the northern bank of the river Swale is only three miles from the famous Richmond Castle or why not take a trip to nearby Easby Abbey Kiplin Hall Museum and the wonderful Foxglove Court Nature Reserve. Close to the Yorkshire and Durham Dales home to outstanding scenery great castles abbeys and dark skies to enjoy star gazing worth a visit anytime of the year. Catterick Race Course is close by for a fun day out. Further afield you are approximately 35 miles from the Spa town of Harrogate home to RHS Garden Harlow Carr and the famous Betty s Tea Rooms or why not indulge in some retail therapy you ll want to return time and time again. Venture through the French doors into the lounge/diner after a busy day exploring relax on the comfortable sofas and armchair enjoy a board game or watch your favourite family film together. Enjoy a catch up over dinner and plan your next day s adventure. Along the hallway you will find the lovely contemporary well-equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob dishwasher washing machine fridge with ice compartment microwave and breakfast bar. There are two ground floor double bedrooms off the hallway one with an en-suite shower room with shower and WC and one with shower and WC in the room. Heading up to the first floor you will find a further lounge/games room with TV/DVD and an oak balcony to enjoy the gorgeous scenery surrounding the cottage with afternoon tea and cake and and relax. A door off the upper lounge/games room takes you to a Jack and Jill style bathroom with bath and WC. Proceed through the bathroom where you go through to the cosy twin bedroom bathed in light with views across farmland enjoy watching the horses graze peacefully in their paddocks. Step outside to the enclosed patio garden you will find a table and chairs for al fresco dining charcoal BBQ and hot tub. Heading down the grassed area to the front of the property you will find two ponds with visiting wildlife to study and the north banks of the river Swale. (Children and dogs must be accompanied). There is ample parking for three cars and a secure bike store.
