Introduction

The cottage retains lots of character with cruck oak beams and is the perfect hideaway with acres of gardens and fields as well as a private waterfall. Set just beneath Lord Hereford s Knob and Hay Bluff in the Black Mountains (part of the Brecon Beacons National Park) you can stride pedal or ride out across some of the country s most beautiful terrain right from the doorstep. Things to do include rock climbing abseiling gorge walking rafting archery caving and Tregoyd riding stables and outdoor activity centre which is just at the foot of the mountain lane with great trails across the hills to explore on. Not forgetting Wye Valley with its canoeing shooting river and lake fishing which is near Hay on Wye home of the famous Hay Festival with 30 bookshops cafes and shops. Leisure facilities: wood-fired private hot tub. Games facilities: pool table in the lounge. The accommodation offers THREE bedrooms: 1 king-size with additional single bed and en-suite bathroom with hand-held shower over bath and WC. On the ground floor 1 double and 1 double with additional single bed. Bathroom: with bath separate shower and WC on the ground floor. Lounge: with open-fire (logs included) TV DVD iPod dock table tennis and pool table. Second lounge/diner: with open-fire (logs included). Kitchen: with Aga gas hob fridge freezer and dishwasher. Utility room: with washing machine. Outside: enclosed garden and patio area with garden furniture. Amenities: ample parking.
