Nestled in the rural village of Ansty amid glorious Dorset countryside these delightful lodges make an excellent holiday base to explore this pretty county whatever the season. Beautifully finished and with uninterrupted views over the lake and on to the surrounding countryside the lodges are surrounded by Christmas trees to ensure maximum seclusion and have a wonderful Norwegian feel about them. Steeped in history Dorset s landscape of rolling chalk downland and hidden valleys affords wonderful walking with a network of footpaths directly from the lodge. You will be a couple of minutes walk to a traditional 250 year old pub which has an inviting bar and restaurant and on-site there is a farm shop selling everything from locally produced meat to freshly baked bread and croissants. The area offers a host of pretty and well renowned villages sandy beaches and the Jurassic coastline which has World Heritage status. The towns of Dorchester Blandford Forum and Weymouth are easily accessible and there are many attractions including Monkey World Abbotsbury Swannery Lulworth Castle to name but a few. Upon entering the lodge will find a delightful spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining room which is light and airy and has fabulous countryside views. Snuggle up by the cosy wood burner with a good book or catch up with your favourite TV programme or DVD. The kitchen area includes a gas oven gas hob microwave fridge freezer and dishwasher. There is ample room to enjoy leisurely meals around the dining table with family and friends whilst taking in the lovely views through the large bi-folding doors which overlook the garden and countryside beyond. There is a useful separate utility room which has a further WC and a washer/dryer. Walking through the hallway you will find two charming bedrooms firstly the Master double bedroom which has a king-size bed and an en-suite shower and WC. The second bedroom is a twin with zip-and-link beds which can be made into a double on request. There is also a separate bathroom with bath and WC. On the outside of the peaceful lodge a hot tub sits on the private decked veranda creating a fantastic opportunity for relaxation whilst taking in the far reaching countryside views. Steps lead down to an open lawn area and there is also a table chairs and a BBQ perfect for al fresco dining. Steps lead up to the parking area which provides ample off-road parking.
