Introduction

This fabulous cottage is located on the outskirts of the village of Holmfirth near Huddersfield made famous by the TV series The Last of the Summer Wine. Holmfirth offers a wide variety of shops cafes and bars and restaurants which use local produce to enjoy. The village is full of art and creativity why not visit the gallery of a renowned local artist. There are lots of beautiful country walks right from your doorstep so bring your walking boots and enjoy the hills. Magnificent scenery and cycling routes used in the Tour de Yorkshire are all on the doorstep. For a fun filled family adventure outdoor pursuits or miles of peaceful country walks this area has much to offer. Upon entering the cottage you will be in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a beautiful dining table with seating for ten. There are sumptuous sofas to relax and unwind in whilst sat in front of the crackling wood burner or watching something on the TV. The kitchen area provides an electric oven and hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher washing machine and tumble dryer. Leading off from the lounge area is a beautiful sun room with high table and chairs so relax here and enjoy the warmth of the summer sun which glows into the room. Heading downstairs to the ground floor you will find the master bedroom with king-size bed and two singles which has en-suite shower room with stone sink. There is also a cinema and karaoke room on this floor with comfy seating which is perfect for rainy days there is a handy grotto style shower room and WC leading off the cinema room. Heading upstairs to the first floor you will find a further two bedrooms one with a king-size and a single bed and a second bedroom with three single beds which share the bathroom with a shower over bath with lighting. As you go outside and onto the decking you will find sun loungers and comfy sofa chairs against the back drop of the trees. Then step down onto the lower tier decking area where you will find further sofas and a bar table and chairs and corner seating unit perfect for relaxing during those summer evenings. Overlooking this area is a fabulous summer house which has a hot tub and sauna inside creating a peaceful sanctuary to enjoy whatever the weather. There is roadside parking to the front of the property for two cars (subject to availability) and further parking in the nearby pub car park.
