Introduction

Located near one of the principal Carmarthenshire towns Ammanford this property is well-placed if you are a keen walkers or cyclist. The area boasts many trails in the Brecon Beacons National Park and the Black Mountains. There is an attractive variety of scenic days out including The Carmel Nature Reserve home to a range of unique habitats including woodland grassland heat land and bogs. Why not visit Carreg Cennen Castle one of the most famous and privately-owned castles in Wales? The National Botanic Garden of Wales with its restored gardens and excellent tea room is also a popular place of historical interest. Further away is the impressive Pembrey Beach which boasts a lovely day out for all the family with idyllic views across Carmarthen Bay. On the ground floor of this stunning property is an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge area includes a TV/DVD and woodburner; the dining area consists of a large table with up to six spaces and the kitchen which is well-equipped kitchen with oven and hob fridge/freezer dishwasher and microwave. There is also a laundry room which consists of a washing machine and tumble dryer catering for your every need. On the first floor there are three bedrooms: two doubles with sloping ceilings helping to evoke that traditional and cosy feel; and one twin bedroom. The bathroom hosts a shower over bath and WC. Outside of the restored detached barn is a garden enclosed by fencing with an open aspect seating area complete with garden table and chairs. The garden is perfect for enjoying al fresco dining with delightful views over the countryside creating great spaces to relax in tranquil surroundings. There is also an private hot tub for guests to enjoy.
