Around the town there are plenty of attractions to please all interests including a Birds of Prey Centre The World of James Herriot Kiplin Hall and a fantastic outdoor pursuits centre Yorkshire Outdoors which offers a huge range of activities including 4×4 off-roading Segways quad biking and clay pigeon shooting. Further afield but still within easy reach the towns of Harrogate and Ripon make excellent destinations for day trips as does the RHS garden at Harlow Carr. On arrival at this five-star cottage guests come first to the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This welcoming space is a characterful room with high beamed ceilings and a warming wood burner. There is comfortable sofa and armchair seating from which guests can enjoy the TV/DVD as well as patio doors which open onto the property s patio. At the far end of the space the kitchen area is furnished with a dining table and equipped with a Range-style oven hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher and washer/dryer. Two of the property s bedrooms are king-size rooms which can be made up as twin rooms on request each benefitting from its own Smart TV and en-suite bathroom with shower-over-bath and WC. The third bedroom meanwhile is a restful double room with an en-suite shower and WC. To the rear of the property there is an enclosed patio with a BBQ and patio furniture as well as the ultimate relaxing treat a hot tub. There is also a small bistro patio set at the front of the property. Guests are able to follow a designated walking route around the owner s farm allowing them to meet the resident animals and possibly collect eggs from the chickens.
