Penzance is a reasonable drive westwards but it s worth the effort for a day trip to spend time exploring Praa Sands Marazion St Michael s Mount and the fishing villages of Newlyn and Mousehole. For the family stop in at the Wildlife Sanctuary situated in Hayle or travel to Flambards Theme Park near Helston.
