There is much to see and do and is the perfect base to explore this stunning area of Exmoor and Somerset. Guests can walk through snowdrop valley up to the summit of Dunkery Beacon where the views are far-reaching. The local village of Wheddon Cross is a short distance away and has a local shop pub and is most renowned for its displays of the little white flowers in February each year. Visit the Medieval town of Dunster with its variety of shops cafes and castle. Other points of interest include the West Somerset Steam Railway Valley of the Rocks and Lynton and Lynmouth with its water-powered cliff railway. Whatever you do guaranteed you will long to return to your hut where you can truly relax and enjoy the peace. This comfortable shepherds hut boasts everything you want for a luxurious getaway for two. Stepping inside you will find a stylish living space incorporating the lounge kitchen diner and sleeping area. The lounge area has a warming wood burner two comfortable chairs and a large coffee table ideal for your morning coffee as you look out through the double doors to the decking and countryside beyond. The kitchen area is equipped with everything you may need including a mini gas oven and three ring gas hob and a small fridge. A stable door leads out to a side area off the kitchen where there is a log store. There is a very modern wet room with a large shower cubicle washbasin and WC. The whole property has underfloor heating making it a great spot to stay whatever time of year. The bedroom area is thoughtfully designed with a king-size bed that invites you to put your feet up and relax as you soak up the fabulous views. Outside the property is a large decked area with a picnic bench and sun loungers additionally there is a fire pit with logs provided as well as your own private wood fired Swedish hot tub which will be lit ready for you to use. Exmoor is situated in Europe s first Dark Sky Reserve and in the hit tub you can soak quietly as the unspoilt skies slowly fill with stars. There is ample parking but depending on the weather you may have to park up and walk to your hut which would only be a 5 min walk max (A trolley is provided for your luggage) Need to know: King size bed. Wet room shower with WC. Mini gas oven and 3 ring gas hob and small fridge. Wood burner (logs provided). Large decked area with garden furniture. Fire pit, and private. Swedish wood fired hot tub (Logs Included). Ample parking at the entrance to the woods just a 5 min walk to the hut. A trolley for your luggage is provided. There is no TV at this property. Shop and pub 2 miles. Private water supply. Regularly tested to British Safety Standards. Solar Panels are used to supply the hut with electric and hot water.
