Introduction

This gorgeous annexe enjoys an enviable location with stunning far-reaching views across the horseshoe of the Severn estuary. Quite literally on the doorstep of the Forest just 50m from the property you can enjoy lovely walks taking in the flora and fauna such as bluebell woods and Highland Cattle in the nature reserve. Deer and wild boar are most likely to be seen earlier in the morning or towards the end of the day. Take advantage of the Forest activities from miles of cycling trails to suit all abilities to the River Wye for canoeing and kayaking. For the more adventurous rock climbing and abseiling are on offer not forgetting the zip wire and Ariel Adventure park. For those craving cultures and relaxation Gloucester is less than 15 miles away. Visit the Victorian Docklands take a stroll through Gloucester Cathedral grounds and don t forget the Quays for a lazy lunch and shopping. The annexe itself has a separate entrance to the side of the main home. The entrance hallway offers space for storing muddy boots and coats and provides access into the main living area. The open-plan lounge/diner enjoys lots of natural light from large glazed doors; a great space for you to relax on the sofa or armchair in front of the good-sized TV whilst a small table and chairs are perfect for a simple supper for two. The contemporary kitchen is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher and washing machine. And when the day is done accessed from the main living space there is a double bedroom with a good-sized en-suite shower and WC. To the rear of the annexe there is a spacious table and chairs together with a gas BBQ for alfresco summer dining. For cooler evenings the chimenea or patio heater will extend your time outside and having spent a long day walking hiking cycling or enjoying a myriad of activities offered in the Forest of Dean why not sit back and relax for a few hours in the spacious private hot tub. The property is easily accessed and offers off-road parking for one car and storage for bikes. Need to know: 1 bedroom double. 1 en suite shower and WC.
