There are miles of walks to be enjoyed directly from the property each meandering through an awe-inspiring landscape teeming with wildlife. You re centrally located for visiting the Somerset Devon and Dorset coastlines with Blue Anchor and Watchet in Somerset being the closest beaches. To the south is the Jurassic Coast home to the delightful towns of Sidmouth Beer Lyme Regis and Exmouth. Other great day trips include the Taunton races Hestercombe Gardens Cheddar Gorge Exmoor and The West Somerset Steam Railway. For shopping head to Taunton Exeter the coastal village of Dunster Glastonbury Wells Bath or Clarks Village outlet centre. Tucked away up a private lane lies this cedar-clad detached barn which is situated on a 550-acre working farm. Entering the stylish single-storey property you are immediately greeted by the light and spacious lounge/kitchen/diner with large sliding doors opening onto the decking. Enjoy watching the seasons change from the comfortable seating and then settle in for a snug evening in front of the wood burner with a feast a bottle of wine and a film on the Smart TV. The kitchen has an electric oven and induction hob fridge with ice compartment dishwasher and microwave and is a great space for cooking lazy breakfasts or trying out new recipes. The dining area has a beautiful bespoke table made from an oak tree on the farm that came down in a storm. Completing the accommodation is a king-size bedroom which has a bespoke window that protrudes out to the front of the building creating a window seat and maximising those long views. Incorporated into the bedroom is the contemporary en-suite shower room with a shower and WC. Push open the sliding doors and the decking immediately becomes part of the living space seamlessly linking inside to outside. In the enclosed garden guests will find a table and chairs a BBQ as well a wood-fired hot tub – which is particularly inviting at night under star-filled skies. There is also a covered seating area for warm or rainy days – so you can always enjoy the views whatever the weather!
