The central location makes it perfect for visiting both coastlines including Watchet (21 miles) and Blue Anchor (24 miles) to the north and the popular seaside towns of Lyme Regis (25 miles) and Sidmouth (26.5 miles) to the south. Head to Bishops Lydeard (9 miles) and jump on the West Somerset Railway which chugs merrily through the countryside ending at Minehead Beach it s a real step back in time.
