Introduction

A well-presented ground floor cottage resting on a self-catering accommodation site in the pretty village of Newton On Rawcliffe resting on the cusp of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park just 4 miles from the popular town of Pickering. Within the village is a family run 18th century Inn serving bar food and real ale with log fires and surrounded by endless walking and cycling routes over moors and woodlands with Dalby Forest (17 miles) or head to the coast (22 miles) and the possibility of strolls with views or energetic hikes with dramatic scenery. An attractively furnished and readily accessible ground-floor apartment. Other than the single step to get into the barn there are no further steps. Heading through into the open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area the kitchen is fully equipped should you want to rustle up a hearty home-cooked meal. There is a Smart TV in the lounge area so you can snuggle up on the sofa and watch a film in the evening. There are two bedrooms a double and a twin room both with plenty of storage space and a bathroom next door which has a shower over bath and WC. Externally there is an enclosed garden and you have direct access out to a paved patio with benches where you can dine alfresco. If you fancy a dip in the pool across the courtyard is a communal pool house with a sauna and hot tub the perfect way to de-stress! (allocated times apply and children must be supervised). There is off-street parking for 2 cars. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 double, 1 twin 1 bathroom bath with overhead shower and WC. Electric oven and hob, fridge, slim dishwasher and microwave. Smart TV in lounge. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Enclosed garden. Two shared washing machines and a tumble drier (operated by coin meter) are located in a separate laundry room. Communal courtyard with benches, access to shared gardens including a water garden area with a pond and bridge, communal swimming pool, sauna and hot tub (allocated times apply and children must be supervised). Off street parking for 2 cars. Pub and shop 5 miles. Owl Cottage can be booked along with Granary (sleeps 4), Swift (sleeps 7) and Mallard (sleeps 6) totally accommodation for up to 21 guests.
