A cosy and luxuriously designed cottage resting within the quiet village of Mickleby just 2.5 miles from Runswick Bay and just under 4 miles to Kettleness Beach where you can pick up the coastal path trail of the Cleveland Way. Whitby is close by with its famous Abbey links to Bram Stoker and the best fish and chips you will find anywhere. Take a tour on a boat whale watch in season or go fossil hunting on the beaches. Whatever your interests there is something for everyone historic castles even older abbeys museums farms walking cycling for Tour De Yorkshire enthusiasts superb local markets with the very best Yorkshire produce and of course restaurants and tea rooms too numerous to mention. Whether you wish to ramble play golf swim in the sea or visit historic attractions you won t have far to travel from here to do it. Traditional in style and retaining all the charm that its history conveys from beamed ceilings to deep window sills with a large garden looking out over the fields with cows grazing and birdsong. The window looks out over the garden and fields beyond. Bedroom two is a restful room with a panelled ceiling and low window looking out over the garden. There is a king-sized bed with pretty linen a vintage-style cream chest of drawers and bedside cabinets. Bedroom three is a lovely single room again with pretty linen decorative shelving and a bedside cabinet this room looks out over the large front garden. The garden is a real feature of this property. At the rear it rises from the patio in stepped levels with steps leading up to a lawned area which is enclosed and private. There are lovely herbaceous borders and super views of fields and a hot tub on the patio area. There is outdoor furniture for your enjoyment and this has to be a perfect place to sit and enjoy a morning coffee a tipple of an evening or an alfresco meal at any time of day. There is an outhouse to the side where you will find the washing machine and tumble dryer but also is an excellent space for wet and muddy boots and your furry companion to dry off.
