Enjoy tranquil walks from the doorstep along the River Rede and from Bellingham explore the beautiful woodland walk to Hareshaw Linn to see the stunning waterfall.

Head to Kielder Water and Forest Park (10 miles) for walking and cycling trails galore a range of outdoor activities falconry and the Dark Sky Observatory. Discover Roman history at Housesteads and Vindolanda and Northumberland s coastal villages and castles like Warkworth and Bamburgh. As you enter this single-storey cottage you will find yourself in the well-equipped light and airy kitchen/diner with views out to the garden which is host to a variety of birdlife and the occasional red squirrel. After your day s activities the lounge is the perfect place to rest and relax in comfort in front of the cosy wood burner set in a stone inglenook fireplace. There are two bedrooms where you can enjoy a good night s sleep; one with a double bed and the other with a four-poster double bed.

Both bedrooms provide super views over the garden towards the hills and neighbouring countryside. The family bathroom comprises of a shower over the bath and WC. Outside the lovely garden surrounds the cottage on three sides. At the front there is a picnic-style table and seating. To the rear you will discover the private wood-fired hot tub perfect for soothing those achy limps after a day of activities.
