This charming Lakeland converted farmhouse is situated on a working sheep farm surrounded by the Northern Fells with fabulous views towards Blencathra. The location may feel rural but you are only a mile away from Threlkeld village which boasts country pubs a cricket pavilion and a golf course. Enjoy a walk into the market town of Keswick only 4 miles away along the old railway path. Annually Keswick hosts the Mountain Festival with world-class sports outdoor activities talks and films along with live music. There are some fabulous walks cycling routes and climbing opportunities all available on your doorstep. If you fancy a day of pampering why not treat yourself to a spa day in one of the local hotels or visit the Lakes Distillery for a tour and tasting session. This recently renovated cottage has been finished to a very high standard. Walk into the open-plan living space with a contemporary kitchen with breakfast bar which looks over the lounge. The lounge has a wall-mounted Smart TV a comfy sofa and is the perfect place to curl up after a long day exploring with a glass of wine and a good book. Off the lounge you will find the bathroom. Head up the stairs to the first floor where you will find the spacious master suite which has a beamed ceiling and stunning views over the fells. There is a patio area in front of the cottage with seating the area is a haven for wildlife and birds as well as the local farm animals which roam close by. It is the perfect spot on a nice evening to enjoy the dark skies from the private hot tub. On a summer s morning make plans with a morning coffee or dine alfresco in the evening. Need to know: 1 bedroom 1 king size. 1 bathroom walk in shower with rain shower and WC. Electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and wine cooler. Smart TV in lounge and in the bedroom. Underfloor heating. Patio with seating area and views over the fells. Private hot tub. Parking for 1 car on the gravel drive. Pub 1.1 miles and shop 4.2 miles.
