Retreat 919 – Newquay, Cornwall

This cosy studio cottage is located on farmland close to Cornwall s stunning coastline. There is plenty to see in the area with Newquay just four miles away with its popular beaches suitable for both swimmers and surfers alike. There is an aquarium here a zoo as well as surf academies bars and restaurants. Just a little further around the coast is the stunning Watergate Bay with a wide expanse of sandy beach where guests will find Jamie Oliver s renowned restaurant Fifteen.

This studio-style cottage has been delightfully and sympathetically converted to make comfortable holiday accommodation for two. All of the living accommodation is located in one open-plan space which has everything that guests will need to enjoy their stay as well as some interesting period features including the exposed stone walls. However there is no need to go without your modern creature comforts as there is a TV Blu-ray/DVD and iPod dock.

There is also a wood burner which keeps the studio lovely and cosy whatever the weather and also adds to the romantic atmosphere. The kitchen area is well-equipped with an oven and electric hob microwave fridge with ice compartment and washing machine. Tucked away behind the lounge area is the bedroom area with its king-size bed. A door next to the bedroom area leads to the en-suite shower room and WC.

Outside there is a small enclosed shingled garden with seating use of your own private summerhouse with sofa and pretty lighting and your own private hot tub to relax in at the end of a day exploring the local area. Just outside of this area is a woodland/ orchard area for guests to enjoy. There an additional seating next to two pleasant ponds. There is also a shared games room with table football pool table dart board Bluetooth speaker and a snug area. There is ample parking available.
